Zellige Tile: The Trend For 2023

January 23, 20231 min read

Looking for the perfect tile for your home can be hard. Sometimes, it’s difficult to even know where to start. When designing your home you want to try to choose design trends that are timeless. It doesn’t have to be the most popular tile, but you also want to make sure it isn’t completely outdated.

Lucky for you, in 2023, we predict that the popularity of Zellige tile will continue to grow and make a splash in design.  This Moroccan tile comes in a variety of shapes, colors, sizes, and textures, it’s a great addition to any space that lacks color and expression.

The art of Zellige was introduced into the design world in Spain, as early as 1,300 years ago. As opposed to their more traditional mosaic designs, these monochromatic tiles will always have a unique place in our hearts and homes. They are beautiful additions to kitchens, bathrooms, pools, and even fountains. Zellige tile can be used in both indoor and outdoor installations.
